Standard lab turnaround is often available in about 24 hours, with rush options sometimes available depending on lab capacity, sample type, time of sampling, and project timing. We confirm expected turnaround when we schedule the inspection.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to test before renovating an older home?
If your home was built before 1980 and your renovation will disturb floors, ceilings, walls, plaster, or insulation, testing is strongly recommended and may be required by your contractor or building department.
Can I collect samples myself?
We recommend against it. Disturbing suspect material releases fibers. Our inspectors use wet methods and PPE to collect samples safely.
