Where it's found
Common in pre-1980 construction across Western Massachusetts.
When and why
Heaviest use through the late 1970s, with continued use of existing inventory into the early 1980s.
How it's tested
Bulk samples are collected with wet methods and PPE, then analyzed by PLM (EPA 600/R-93/116) with point counting where indicated.
